The Mazziotti group at The University of Chicago is looking to fill one or more postdoctoral position(s) in the field of many-electron quantum mechanics with applications in chemical physics and condensed-matter physics. We are looking for people who have received their PhD. in the last 3 years or less or who are about to receive their PhD in the upcoming months. A doctoral degree in physics, chemistry, or related areas is required. The main project(s) revolve around the development of 2-electron reduce-density-matrix methods for the description of many-electron quantum systems. The project(s) are being performed in conjunction with RDMChem LLC. The start date is immediate.
