The Donostia International Physics Center, within the IKUR initiative of the Basque Country on quantum technology, is seeking a highly motivated Post Doc on the area of non-conventional quantum annealers. You can read below the eligibility criteria and description of the position:

Description:

Josephson junctions systems have been used for implementing successful quantum bits (qubits). In this contest, qubits are realised by constructing superconducting quantum interferometer devices (SQUIDs). These qubits can be implemented in a universal quantum computer or a quantum annealer to solve a particular subset of quantum problems.

In this particular call, we are searching for a strong candidate to conduct theoretical research on non-conventional quantum annealers in close collaboration with Dario Bercioux, Miguel A. Cazalilla at the DIPC & Sebastian Bergeret at CFM/MPC (CSIC-UPV/EHU).

Eligibility/Qualification:

• The candidates are expected to have PhD in Theoretical Physics.
• Experience in the field of quantum transport and mesoscopic superconductivity. 
• The candidate should also have excellent writing and communications skills in English.
