There is a current opening for a postdoctoral position in the Functional Materials Group at the University of Kent, based at Canterbury, UK. The successful candidate will bring enthusiasm for numerical simulations of strongly correlated systems and a strong background in quantum mechanics. The project will be supervised by Dr Gunnar Möller and revolves around applications of diagrammatic Monte-Carlo methods to discrete lattice models. Tensor network methods may also be explored.

The position is initially available for two years starting in late 2016 / early 2017, and is renewable for up to one further year. Candidates in the final stages of completing their PhD are strongly encouraged to apply.
