A postdoctoral position is available in Prof. Margine’s group in the Department of Physics at State University of New York at Binghamton. The research project involves modeling and development of two dimensional materials for energy and electronics applications. Applicants are expected to hold a Ph.D. in Physics, Materials Science, or Chemistry and have a track record in computational materials research at the DFT/GW level. Experience with code development in Fortran/C is an asset.

The initial appointment is for one year with the possibility for renewal for a second year. Candidates should send a CV, a list of publications, contact information of at least two referees, a one-page description of past accomplishments, and an estimated availability date.
