Postdoctoral position at the University of Delaware in the Materials Science and Engineering Department, in the group of Prof. Anderson Janotti, with starting date in the Summer or Fall of 2015. The position is for one year, with possible renewal for another two years. The research project will focus on first-principles simulations of energy-related materials and processes, with topics including photovoltaic, terahertz, ferroelectric, or plasmonic materials. The position will involve close collaboration with experimentalists at Delaware and elsewhere. Knowledge of density functional theory, and experience with electronic structure codes such as VASP, ABINIT, or Quantum Expresso are desired.
