Job Description : Postdoctoral Position, Materials Science Division, Argonne National Laboratory

Basic Purpose:
Quantum chemical modeling of catalysts for biomass conversion including mechanistic studies, catalyst properties, and materials design.
This position is open immediately and is based on renewable yearly contract. Interested candidates should submit a full CV and names/contact of three referees.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Considerable experience in quantum chemical methods for molecules and solid state materials. Experience with quantum mechanical codes such as Gaussian, QCHEM, VASP, etc. Knowledge of transition metal chemistry. Track record of peer-reviewed publications. Good oral and written communication skills.
Requirements:
Ph.D. in a chemistry or related discipline. Track record of peer-reviewed publications. To be eligible, candidates must have completed their Ph.D. within the last three years
