Postdoc Opening in the Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems at Mississippi State University

There is an opening for a postdoctoral researcher in the Molecular Science and Engineering Lab (http://railab.che.msstate.edu/) in the Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems at Mississippi State University. This position is limited to US citizens and US permanent residents.

The postdoctoral researcher will perform molecular dynamics simulations to compute transport properties, use machine learning tools for model development, mentor graduate and undergraduate students, write manuscripts and presentations, present work at conferences.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, physics, or a related discipline. Experience in advanced molecular dynamics simulation techniques, machine learning, and programming experience is required.

The postdoctoral associate position is a full-time, benefits-eligible 12-month basis appointment. The initial appointment is for one year with a possibility of extension based on the performance and the availability of funding.
