One postdoctoral fellowship will be available at the Dept. of Chemical Sciences of the University of Padova (Italy), with expected starting date at the end of 2022/beginning of 2023. The position is for 2 years, with a possible renewal upon mutual agreement (funding already secured).
The fellowship will be supported by the EIC Pathfinder Open 2021 grant iSenseDNA - Computation driven development of novel in-vivo-like-DNA-nanotransducers for biomolecules structure identification. The prospective candidates will work on the calculation of spectroscopic signals arising from DNA-protein aggregates by means of hybrid quantum/classical computational approaches. This will require application of quantum-chemical methodologies and set-up and production of molecular dynamics simulations. We are looking for candidates with experience in these fields, who will work in a lively multi-disciplinary international context.
