A postdoctoral position is available in the group of David J. Singh at the University of Missouri. The candidate will use modern theoretical methods, including first principles, to study magnetic, topological and superconducting materials, including both 2D and bulk materials. The candidate should have a strong interest in physics of quantum materials, knowledge and experience with first principles methods, as demonstrated by relevant publications, and knowledge of theoretical physics. A Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics or a closely related subject is required. Ability and interest in developing methods would be a plus. The position is for one year, with renewal anticipated based on performance. The start date for the position is flexible.
