The Theoretical Materials Physics Group of Turan Birol at the University of Minnesota invites applications for a postdoc position starting in the Fall or Winter of 2023. Applicants are expected to have completed their PhD in physics, materials science or related fields and have familiarity with first principles methods (DFT and/or DMFT). The research of the group involve using combination of first principles methods and group theory approaches, and further information can be found at https://birol.cems.umn.edu/ .

Highly motivated candidates with interest in quantum phenomena in solids are encouraged to apply. Applicants should send their CV and a list of two or three references to [email protected] . Review of applications will begin immediately, and continue until the position is filled.
