A postdoctoral researcher position is available in the Canepa Research Laboratory which involves advanced materials informatics methods and materials computations.The specific focus of the project will be the development of perovskite-related materials for energy applications. The successful candidate will be in collaboration with experimental colleagues by predicting novel materials, providing synthesis guidelines, and/or understanding experimental observations. We offer a highly interdisciplinary and dynamic environment. The minimal requirements are:

1.    Excellent practical knowledge of electronic structure methods, including density-functional theory;

2.    Knowledge of thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, and kinetics of materials;

3.    Basic knowledge of materials informatics, programming (e.g., python, C++, FORTRAN) and databases.
