A postdoctoral position in modeling of materials for energy-related applications is available at the Department of Physics of Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden.

The proposed project aims to complement experimental efforts to develop new devices based on materials with reduced dimensionality. The project will be carried out in strong collaboration with experimental groups at the Department of Chemistry and the Department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience (MC2). The successful applicant will work on two subprojects. The first will be dedicated to constructing models of polymeric carbon nitride materials, studying their electronic and catalytic properties. The second subproject will be dedicated to optimising tunnel field-effect transistors (TFETs) based on 2D materials.
