Post doctor Position at the Micro Nano Device and Systems Research Group/Anadolu University/Turkey

The Micro Nano Device and Systems Research group at the Anadolu University is seeking one Postdoctoral Fellow to study vibrational, mechanical and electronic properties of two-dimensional MXene crystals. He/She will be in charge of performing large scale Density Functional Theory based simulations of various two-dimensional MXene crystals.

Required profile

PhD in Physics or Material Science Engineering

Relevant research experience in materials simulation

Advanced knowledge in solid state theory

Experience in programming, open source libraries for data visualization

Good project management, analytical, and report writing skills

Good communication skills (oral, written, presentation)

Collaborative skills, initiative, result oriented, organization, and capacity to work in an interdisciplinary environment

Proficient written and spoken English is mandatory

We offer 2 years fixed term employment contract (with 6 months of trial period)
