The Argonne Leadership Computing Facility (ALCF) invites postdoctoral candidates to apply for the Margaret Butler Fellowship in Computational Science, a one-year appointment that may be renewed for a second year. Open to outstanding postdoctoral candidates, the fellowship offers an opportunity to work at the forefront of scientific computing. The application deadline is December 1, 2018.
The fellowship includes a highly competitive salary, moving expenses, and a professional travel allowance. Candidates must have received a recent PhD prior to the beginning of the appointment and have considerable knowledge of high-performance computational science. Applications must include the following:
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Statement of research interests
  • List of three references
  • Graduate school transcripts
  • A nomination letter from an Argonne sponsor **
