Postdoctoral opening in Computational Materials ... (No replies)

One postdoc opening is available in the group of Prof. Oleg Yazyev (Chair of Computational Condensed Matter Physics) at EPFL. The subject of research is related to the design of nanoporous two-dimensional materials for molecular separation applications, and will be carried out within the joint project with the experimental group of Prof. Kumar Varoon Agrawal (Laboratory of Advanced Separations) at EPFL.

 

The candidate should have:
 - PhD in physics, chemistry or materials science;
 - 
experience with common electronic structure and atomistic molecular dynamics codes;
 - 
ability to organize efficient computational workflows and analyze data;
 - 
coding experience;
 - ability to work in close collaboration with experimental colleagues;
 - 
excellent written and spoken English.
