We are glad to announce that the newly established Sackler Center for Computational Molecular and Materials Science at Tel Aviv University (http://thesacklercenter.tau.ac.il) has four postdoctoral positions. Postdoctoral fellows are expected to perform leading-edge computational research focusing on the chemistry and physics of complex systems, and to interact with at least one, but preferably more of the research groups associated with the center:
Guy Cohen http://www.tau.ac.il/~gcohen
Oswaldo Dieguez http://www.eng.tau.ac.il/~dieguez
Oded Hod http://www.tau.ac.il/~odedhod
Amir Natan http://www.eng.tau.ac.il/~amirn
Abraham Nitzan http://atto.tau.ac.il/~nitzan
Eran Rabani http://www.tau.ac.il/~rabani
Yair Shokef http://shokef.tau.ac.il
Michael Urbakh http://www.tau.ac.il/~urbakh1

Applicants should have completed their PhD thesis in a relevant field, in an academic institute outside Israel, after March 2014, or expect to complete it by March 2016. Applications should be submitted online at http://thesacklercenter.tau.ac.il/fellowships.html
and should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae including list of publications, and a short research statement describing both achievements so far as well as plans for future research. Three letters of recommendation should be sent directly to [email protected] from established scientists who have personal acquaintance with the applicant.

Postdoctoral fellows joining the center are expected to start anytime between October 2015 and March 2016. They will enjoy a two-year appointment with Tel Aviv University’s highest fellowship (currently, with a net pay of 137,700 Israeli Shekels (ILS) per year), plus relocation expenses including arrival flights and temporary housing, and a personal allowance for travel to conferences of 2000 USD/year.

Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the positions are filled. For primary consideration, applicants are encouraged to apply before June 1, 2015.
