Electronic Structure Theory and Applications in Condensed Matter Physics

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Appointee with both strong computer science skills and experience with methods development in density functional theory to develop and apply predictive electronic structure and atomistic methods where standard first-principles approaches are known to fail, particularly for materials with d- and f-electrons such as rare earths, lanthanides, actinides, and transition metal oxides.
