Duration: The position is initially for one year but it can be extended for one more year.

Net Salary: ~2.400 euro/month

Description: Development and implementation of the NEGF equations for simulating the ultrafast dynamics of molecules and solids driven out of equilibrium by laser pulses. The Condensed Matter Theory Group in Tor Vergata offers high-level training and tight connections with renown theoretical and experimental groups. The appointee will primarily collaborate with Gianluca Stefanucci and Enrico Perfetto. The position is available from December 2021.
The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in condensed matter theory, a basic background in Many-Body Perturbation Theory, programming skills and possibly previous experience with DFT codes.
