A postdoc position is available at the Division of Theoretical Physics of the Rudjer Boskovic Institute in Zagreb, Croatia, to work on the research project "Extending length and time scales of first principles material modeling via machine learning."

The appointment is for two years. The preferred starting date is after summer and before the end of the year.
The position is open for candidates with PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, and related.
The candidate has to have experience in density functional theory and/or machine learning for materials.

The Gross monthly salary is approx 2000€. After taxes, pension, and health insurance (including dental coverage), the net is around 1200€ (without family benefits). Good quality of life can be maintained as Croatia offers a relatively low cost of living (the median net salary in Croatia is 840€).
