A postdoc researcher position is available in the Method Development and Materials Simulation Lab (https://research.njit.edu/mdmsl/) led by Farnaz A. Shakib at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), Newark, NJ, USA. We are a multidisciplinary group interested in designing new generation of sustainable energy resources by developing our own theoretical methodology/computational tools. The current position will focus on developing non-adiabatic dynamics methods for the study of charge transfer/transport in 2D materials. Required qualifications include a vast knowledge of application and development of quantum dynamics methods and expertise in Fortran and/or C++ coding. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic international environment and will be involved in multiple ongoing projects in the lab.

The initial appointment is for one year starting on September 1, 2021. Renewal of the contract is subject to mutual agreement and availability of external funding.
