Dear postdoctoral candidates,
The Bande research group "Theory of Electron Dynamics and Spectroscopy" at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin (HZB) seeks a postdoctoral researcher with a PhD in (theoretical) chemistry, physics, material, or data science for the computation of X-ray absorption and resonant inelastic X-ray scattering spectra of mostly inorganic solids. The calculations will be done with methods of quantum chemistry and by using of machine learning. Cooperation partners are among the experimentalists of BESSY II and part of the research group is based at Leibniz Hannover University.
