The Virginia Commonwealth University invites applicants for a post-doctoral research associate for theoretical studies on ligated clusters, supported clusters, and nano-assemblies. The positions will support research in the theoretical studies in the field of electronic structure, magnetic and optical properties, catalysis, and cluster materials. The applicant will benefit from the close collaboration with renowned experimental groups with whom we have established collaborations.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in condensed matter physics or chemistry and experience working with electronic structure techniques.
