A postdoctoral position in computational materials chemistry is available at Bar-Ilan University in Israel. The research will be focused on the computational design of Li-ion batteries and Mg-ion batteries. The computational work is performed in close collaboration with leading experimental groups (http://www.inrep.co.il/).

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical engineering, physics, or related fields. 
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
1) Experience in using quantum mechanical programs (e.g. Gaussian, VASP) on materials and molecules
2)  Experience in atomistic simulations (e.g. Molecular dynamics simulations)
3) Experience in programming/scripting
4) Experience in writing scientific articles
5) Good interpersonal skills
6) Good command of English
