Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in theoretical and computational condensed-matter physics in the group of Prof. Carsten Ullrich at the University of Missouri. The main focus of the project will be to study excitonic effects in bulk and low-dimensional inorganic and organic materials using TDDFT and many-body techniques. Candidates should have experience in theoretical and computational condensed-matter physics and/or material science, should be well versed in DFT and Green’s function methods for electronic structure and optical properties of materials, and should have good programming and parallel computing skills.
