Research Associate in Development of Computational Methods for NanoElectrochemistry
Only a couple of days left to apply for a postdoctoral position in the Computational NanoElectrochemistry Group at Imperial College London.
You will work to enhance current ability to model electrochemical transformation at interfaces, which controls a variety of technologically critical processes and devices, from corrosion to neurotransmission, from electrolysers to supercapacitors, batteries, electrochemical sensors and memristors; to achieve this you will contribute to the implementation of an interface between Smeagol and CP2K codes, to enable grand-canonical MD under current and bias, in collaboration with the main developers of these codes at NPL (UK), UZH and the University of Lincoln.
This position is funded through the EPSRC project https://gow.epsrc.ukri.org/NGBOViewGrant.aspx?GrantRef=EP/P033555/1 and is available immediately for 20 months (until May 2023), with the possibility of extension based on mutual agreement and funding availability.
