I am writing to you with the intention to become a part of your working environment with reference to your above post. At present, I am holding a postdoc position at Siberian Federal University, Russia from July 2021. I have more than 6 publications coming up under my present affiliation in 8 months and expect 3 more in the next two months in high impact Journals (Q1 ranking). Having 6+ years of experience in computational sciences, I developed strong expertise not only in ab initio methods but also in the molecular dynamics studies of biomolecules and experimental methods in synthesis of nanoparticles to support my research works. Thus, I can perform integrative methods to study the complex materials. Lawrence Berkeley National Lab and UC Berkeley have a Postdoctoral Fellow on "Big Micro" to join the group of Dr. Sinéad Griffin.
This theoretical/computational postdoctoral position will focus on pushing the limits of the description of large-scale systems for microelectronics with ab initio accuracy (especially oxides). Previous experience in Density Functional Theory and/or related methods is required. The position will include close collaboration with Prof. Sayeef Salahuddin at UC Berkeley both in the theoretical model development and experimental validation. This full-time appointment is joint between UC Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
