The Pavanello group at Rutgers University-Newark has a postdoctoral position opening in the area of electronic structure method development. The ideal candidate holds a PhD in Physics, Materials Science or Chemistry and is well versed in electronic structure theory and software development.

The Pavanello lab is involved several software development projects, such as embedded Quantum ESPRESSO eqe.rutgers.edu, DFTpy dftpy.rutgers.edu, and is now developing a next-gen embedding software for periodic systems, eDFTpy edftpy.rutgers.edu
