Collaborating Professor: Dr. Wang Zheng, a researcher at Shenzhen University's Advanced Research Institute. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2013. He earned his Ph.D. (under the guidance of Professor Lin Zhenyang) from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2017, focusing on computational organometallic chemistry. From October 2017 to October 2019, he conducted postdoctoral research at Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School under Professor Yang Shihe, researching computational electrocatalytic chemistry. In 2020, he worked on solid oxide fuel cells at the Mechanical Department of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology under Professor Francesco Ciucci. From January 2021 to February 2023, he was involved in simulations and modeling related to infrared detectors at the Kunming Institute Physics. Job Qualifications: a) Under 35 years old, having obtained a Ph.D. no more than 3 years ago. b) Strong scientific research and innovation skills, and team collaboration spirit. c) Good academic ethics, rigorous scientific attitude, physically fit, and able to meet job requirements. d) Applicants with significant scientific achievements will be given priority. e) Strong English reading and writing skills. f) Proficiency in software like COMSOL, VASP, Gaussian, LAMMPS, and Silvaco is preferred.

Terms of Employment: a) Basic net income of ¥340,000/year, negotiable for exceptionally qualified individuals. b) Those who obtained their Ph.D. from universities ranked in the top 200 globally (excluding domestic institutions) will have a starting annual salary of ¥420,000, based on policies from Guangdong province and Shenzhen city. c) Eligible individuals under Shenzhen University's "Lixin Reward Plan" receive a monthly incentive of ¥4,000, capped at 24 months or a total of ¥96,000. Conditions apply. d) Under Shenzhen University's "Liyuan Retention Plan", the university will hire no less than 25 outstanding young talents directly as pre-appointment long-term faculty. e) On joining, you can apply for housing from the university or apply for public rental housing or housing subsidies from the Shenzhen government. f) Those who continue working in Shenzhen after their postdoc term and sign a contract for at least 3 years will receive annual research funding of ¥100,000 for three years from the city. g) Year-end research performance rewards from the department and research group will be given based on postdoctoral research achievements. h) The research group provides ample research support and assists postdocs in applying for funding. i) Postdocs can apply for joint training with other interested research groups (both domestic and international) and collaborate with specified groups.
