We invite applications for a 2-year postdoc position in computational photochemistry. The project will focus on computational design of organic solar fuel photocatalysts with inverted singlet-triplet gaps.

Responsibilities and qualifications
The successful applicant will apply excited-state computational methods to study the new class of molecules with inverted singlet-triplet gaps as efficient catalysts for solar fuel production (e.g., water splitting or CO₂ reduction).

A qualified applicant will have expertise in one or more of the following topics:

• Excited-state wave-function-based methods
• Nonadiabatic molecular dynamics
• Computational photochemistry

As a formal qualification, you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent).

Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.

The period of employment is 2 years. The starting date is expected in Q1 2023.
