We invite applications for a 2-year postdoc position in computational photochemistry. The project will focus on computational design of organic solar fuel photocatalysts with inverted singlet-triplet gaps.

Responsibilities and qualifications
The successful applicant will apply excited-state computational methods to study the new class of molecules with inverted singlet-triplet gaps as efficient catalysts for solar fuel production (e.g., water splitting or CO2 reduction).

A qualified applicant will have expertise in one or more of the following topics:

  • Excited-state wave-function-based methods
  • Nonadiabatic molecular dynamics
  • Computational photochemistry

 

As a formal qualification, you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent).

Salary and terms of employment
