Job Description: As a Postdoctoral Fellow in Filippo De Angelis Group, your primary objective will be to investigate tandem cells and degradation mechanisms in hybrid perovskite solar cells. Your work will involve utilizing machine learning methods in conjunction with ab-initio density functional theory calculations to unravel the complex dynamics of these materials and optimize their performance. You will have access to state-of-the-art computational resources and experimental data, to push the boundary of knowledge in the field!

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field
  • Strong background in computational materials science, density functional theory, and machine learning techniques
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar
  • Experience with solar cells, perovskite materials, or related areas is highly desirable
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
