Postdoc Position in Computational Biophysics at the University of Augsburg

We are offering a Postdoc position to a highly motivated and dynamic young scientist who wishes to pursue her/his scientific career in a stimulating scientific environment. Successful candidates will join the research group of Prof. Nadine Schwierz as Postdoc in Computational Biophysics (100% TV-L E13). Candidates have the chance to develop an independent research profile and to write a habilitation.

The research in the Schwierz group addresses the description of biological systems with computer simulations. The research aims to resolve essential biological processes at the molecular level and to unravel the underlying physical principles. Examples include the folding and function of RNA, the role of metal ions in biological systems or the formation of amyloid fibrils.
