PhD and Postdoc positions are available in the group led by Dr. Yuanyue Liu, who will join University of Texas-Austin in Fall 2017 as an assistant professor in Materials Science and Engineering.

The group will focus on materials theory and simulations (e.g. DFT, force field) for electronics, optoelectronics, and energy applications.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in 2D/topological materials.

The expected starting dates are Spring 2018 for PhD and Fall 2017 for postdoc.
