Job announcements relevant to people interested in electronic structure calculations…

Due to the large number of posts recently, there is currently a delay of several weeks between posts being submitted and the corresponding emails being distributed to all users. Please bear with us while we try to improve this. In the meantime – and until this notice is removed – it would assist us considerably if you could submit only important and/or urgent posts and thus help to reduce the size of the mail queue. Under no circumstances should you resend posts multiple times when you find the emails are not distributed immediately.

In light of the Russian military offensive in Ukraine, we request that announcements relating to events, jobs and other activities associated with institutions supported by the Russian and Belarusian states are not posted to the Psi-k forum.

A full-time, fixed-term post-doctoral research fellow position is available within the Quantum Device Modelling group (http://www.warwick.ac.uk/nanolab) at the University of Warwick in the UK for two years with a possibility to extend it further until 31 March 2027.

Application Deadline: 7 March 2024

The successful candidate will contribute to the European Innovation Council (EIC) Pathfinder Open project “ATYPIQUAL," assisting the Principal Investigators and project partners. ATYPIQUAL’s main objective is to develop a room-temperature quantum technology platform based on a novel generation of atomically precise graphene nanoribbons. The post-doctoral fellow will be based at the University of Warwick and collaborate within a highly interdisciplinary consortium that includes experimental partners from academia and industry: EMPA (Switzerland), TU Delft (Netherlands), TU Dresden (Germany), CNRS, and THALES (France).
