Two doctoral/postdoctoral positions are available in the Laboratory for Computational Molecular Design (http://lcmd.epfl.ch) at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland, under the supervision of Prof. Clemence Corminboeuf. The positions are available immediately.

We are looking for outstanding candidates with a PhD degree associated with electronic structure methods, atomic scale simulations combined with the development or chemical applications of machine learning techniques. Candidates are expected to show excellent work ethics and work well in teams.

The prospective candidates are expected to integrate the research effort at LCMD. LCMD’s research themes in quantum chemistry includes methodological developments accelerated with machine learning techniques, along with conceptual work relevant to the field of catalysis and molecular materials.
