Several doctoral/postdoctoral positions are available in the Laboratory for Computational Molecular Design (http://lcmd.epfl.ch) at EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland, under the supervision of Prof. Clemence Corminboeuf. The positions are available immediately or in the fall.

We are looking for outstanding candidates with a PhD or master degree associated with quantum chemistry or at the interface between statistical physics and computer science. We are alternatively recruiting a postdoctoral researcher, with a background in theoretical chemistry but with a strong interest in mathematics.

The prospective candidates are expected to integrate the research effort at LCMD. LCMD’s research combined the development of machine learning techniques within the field of quantum chemistry along with conceptual work relevant to the field of catalysis and molecular materials.
