A post-doctoral position in computational materials science is available immediately in the group of Prof. Evgeny Tsymbal at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Nebraska-Lincoln (http://physics.unl.edu/tsymbal/). The work involves research in the areas of antiferromagnetic spintronics, quantum transport, topological and two-dimensional ferroic materials. Required qualifications include PhD in condensed matter physics/materials science, expertise in electronic band structure calculations, interest to work in collaboration with experimentalists, and good communication skills.

Initial appointment is for two years, with a possibility of renewal upon mutual agreement and availability of funding. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
