A post-doctoral position is available in Dr. Sooraj Kunnikuruvan's group (https://chem.iitm.ac.in/faculty/sooraj/) at the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, Chennai. The research in the group mainly focussed on computational catalysis and interfacial chemistry with applications to energy storage, electrocatalysis, biofuel production, and polymerization reactions.

Qualifications:
1.    Ph.D. degree in Chemistry / Material Science with a strong background in computational chemistry / computational material science is mandatory
2.    Proven experience with ab initio molecular dynamics simulations with application to materials is mandatory
3.    Good programming skills and experience in machine learning methods are desirable
