The candidate will be part of the Strongly Correlated Systems group of the CNR Istituto Officina dei Materiali (CNR-IOM) at the Institute for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste, Italy. Scientific interaction with experimental groups at the University of Trieste and the CNR Institute of Optics as well as the ICTP can be expected.
* a Master degree in Physics of related disciplines,
* a Ph.D. in Physics of related disciplines.
Preference will be given to candidates with a solid knowledge of quantum many-body or computational methods for strongly correlated electrons, Kondo physics or cold atomic systems.
