Post-doc position is available at Department of Physics, Pukyong National University, Busan, Korea.

Project:

We have started a project which is related to the optical properties of magnetic materials. The ultimate goal of this project is to find optically transparent magnetic materials.

So, the following issue will be investigated using density functional calculations.

- Curie temperature calculation, temperature dependent Coercivie field calculation,

(using molecular dynamics; Vampire, or other tools)

- frequency dependent refractive index, reflectivity, transparency

We will explore these issues in magnetic oxide materials, two-dimensional materials, dilute magnetic semiconductors.

Requirement:

Should have phd degree in physics or material sciences.

Should have experience in DFT calculations in one of the tools (vasp, wien2k, quantum espresso, siesta, etc..)
