Selection for a Research Grant at the Polytechnic University of Marche, Ancona, Italy. The duration is two years, with the possibility of extension for a further year. The project is part of the H2020 project entitled "Nanomaterials enable smart energy harvesting for next-generation Internet-of-Things (NANO-EH)". https://ec.europa.eu/programmes/horizon2020//en/news/pursuing-4th-industrial-revolution-nano-eh-project The candidate will carry out first principle simulations (in particular DFT) on MoS2 and HfO2-based materials.
