A Postdoctoral Research Fellow opportunity: Condensed Matter Theory at the University of Rochester

Applications is invited for a postdoctoral position working on optical properties and spin-polarized electron transport in two-dimensional crystals with emphasis on transition-metal dichalcogenides. The position start date is September 1, but this date is flexible. Candidates should have a PhD in Physics or related field, and have demonstrated a creative, self-motivated approach to research. Additionally, a background in one or more of the following areas is required: semiconductor spintronics, many-body signatures on optical transitions, transport, and group theory.
