Post-doc & Ph.D for theoretical studies on battery & catalyst phenomena in NIMS, Tsukuba, Japan

# Job Summary

Under the national MEXT, JSPS and JST projects in Tateyama group, National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Japan, the successful candidates will address computational / data-driven science researches on the materials science, interface science and  electrochemistry issues in the battery or catalyst field. The detailed targets are as follows: (1) DFT-based sampling researches on electrochemical reactions and interfacial processes in battery, (2) Design of novel solid electrolytes for all-solid-state batteries by DFT and informatics techniques, (3) Development of theoretical/computational methods such as first-principles, chemical kinetics, & reaction engineering simulations, for the kinetics-related phenomena in catalyst and battery.
