Dear colleagues,

there are openings for positions as "HPC-specialists" at the Paderborn Center for Parallel Computing. We are looking for applicants with experience in high-performance computing (administration or programming) that have a solid knowledge of Linux/Unix-like systems. The main job includes HPC-consulting, teaching, system administration and collaboration with scientific users. Paderborn Center for Parallel Computing has a strong focus on scientific computing for theoretical chemistry, condensed matter physics (e.g. molecular dynamics) and engineering (e.g. photonics).

The positions are TVL-E13 and limited to three years with the possibility to become permanent positions. A requirement is a finished Masters-degree in computer science, physics, chemistry, engineering or similar field.

Due to the integration of the positions into the new competence center for high-performance computing in North Rhine-Westphalia/Germany fluent German and English skills are required.

Interested applicants are invited to express their interest by contacting me
directly in advance.

Best regards,

Robert Schade
