Three PhD studentships are open at the Nanogune institute (San Sebastian), the Autonomous University of Madrid, and the Catalan Institute for Nanosicience and Nanotechnology (Barcelona). They will lead to PhD thesis on the development and use of ab initio methods for materials simulation, within the SIESTA project. Candidates must have a master degree in condensed matter physics, quantum chemistry, or similar, with the equivalent of 300 european-system credits of undergraduate and master studies.
