Applications are invited for a PhD student or postdoctoral position in the field of (condensed-matter) theoretical chemistry. The position is open at the Chair of Solid-State and Quantum Chemistry at RWTH Aachen University (Germany) and deals with the project "Development of the LOBSTER programming suite for quantum-chemical bonding analysis"; see also

The candidate should have an MSc or PhD degree in chemistry or physics, with a strong background in quantum chemistry. Also, excellent programming skills (C++, parallel programming) are essential, as are strong oral and written English skills. Knowledge of German is not required but will be greatly appreciated.
