This Scholarship is funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC) and the University of Sydney. It aims to support a student undertaking a PhD within the School of Physics, Faculty of Science, with Prof. C. Stampfl, where the focus of the research is on carrying out first-principles calculations for the understanding and design of new materials for future high technology applications in sustainable catalysis and low energy nanoelectronics.
