Due to the large number of posts recently, there is currently a delay of several weeks between posts being submitted and the corresponding emails being distributed to all users. PhD positions are offered in the following topics:
Orbital free density functional theory.
Enhancement of electron-phonon coupling near an electronic quantum phase transition.
Transforming the accuracy of density functional approximations through physical constraints.
Funding for one position (on any of the three topics) is available, but restricted to students eligible for home fees in the UK. (UK students, or EU students with pre-settled/settled status.)
