A PhD position at the Laboratory of Optics and Optical Thin Films of the Rudjer Boskovic Institute (Zagreb, Croatia) is currently available to work in theoretical aspects of plasmonic and thin film materials.
The PhD candidate will work on numerical simulations and theoretical analysis in the fields of solid state physics and electrodynamics in order analyze the potential benefits and limitations of new materials and to model experimental results obtained at the laboratory.
