Two PhD openings are available in the Department of Physics at State University of New York at Binghamton under the supervision of Prof. Roxana Margine. The research projects involve modeling of materials for energy and electronics applications using state-of-the-art electronic structure methods. The applicants must hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Physics or a related discipline. Prior experience with electronic structure methods and programming skills would be beneficial, but not necessary.

Consideration of applications will start on January 15, 2020. GRE and TOEFL (if English is not your native language) are required for the graduate school admission.
