Several PhD positions in materials modeling are available in the Department of Physics (https://www.physics.wfu.edu) at Wake Forest University (https://www.wfu.edu). These PhD positions are fully funded (tuition plus stipend) and additional Excellence Fellowships of up to $10,000 are available for exceptional applicants through the Center for Functional Materials (https://cfm.wfu.edu).

Our research in materials ranges from ab initio modeling to classical modeling and goes hand-in-hand with experimental efforts in the Departments of Physics, Chemistry, and Engineering.
